CrossOver began accepting patients with Medicaid in January of 2019. Today, approximately 15% of our patients have Medicaid and 85% are uninsured. Now, with more Virginians becoming unemployed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, you may know someone who has recently lost health insurance, is newly Medicaid eligible, and may be looking for a new medical home. Unfortunately, having a Medicaid card does not necessarily mean having access to a medical home, as there is a shortage of Medicaid providers in Virginia. That’s where we come in.

CrossOver is credentialed with all six Virginia Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs), including dental. This means that no matter who administers a patient’s Medicaid coverage, they can be seen at CrossOver.

We currently have capacity for more Medicaid patients, and appointments are available with short wait times.

Persons with income at or below 138% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), may be eligible for Medicaid (see chart below). To learn more about becoming a Medicaid patient at CrossOver, start here . We can also provide information on applying for Medicaid and becoming a CrossOver patient over the phone at 804-655-2794.
CrossOver can provide a compassionate medical home to people looking for high-quality care amid changing circumstances. Can you help us spread the word to those you know?
