Clinical Volunteers

CrossOver is always looking for licensed clinical volunteers willing to donate their time and talent. Our needs include but are not limited to:

  • Primary Care Providers
  • Specialty Providers
  • Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistant
  • Dentists/Pediatric Dentists
  • Ophthalmologists
  • Optometrists

  • EMTs, CNAs, Certified Medical Assistants

Do you have shadowing opportunities?

Sorry, we cannot provide clinical hours for nursing programs.

What are the requirements for physician assistants and licensed nurse practitioners?

If you are a licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant, you must have at least one year of experience providing care for patients in order to provide care in these roles at CrossOver.

What are the age requirements to volunteer? Can my child volunteer?

Volunteers must be 18 years or older to work with patients or volunteer in a clinical capacity.

However, if your organization has a service day scheduled when the clinics are closed, youth volunteers under age 18 are permitted.

Can my house of worship or organization set up service project day?

Yes! We’d love to work with your organization to set up a service day to benefit CrossOver. Typically, these projects involve deep cleaning, painting or other facitilies updates.

Do I need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to volunteer?

Yes. All volunteer applicants are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
