COMMUNITY PARTNERS

CrossOver Healthcare Ministry enthusiastically welcomes partners of any religious tradition or none at all, and that welcome—indeed, all of our work—is rooted in the value of love of neighbor expressed in Christian scripture and tradition. We invite you to be part of our work to provide compassionate healthcare to people in need.

CrossOver relies on the support of our community, faith, and corporate partners to deliver compassionate healthcare to residents of the greater Richmond area.

HOW CAN MY ORGANIZATION GET INVOLVED?

Take A Tour

Come see CrossOver in action, learn why we are such a special place, and experience firsthand why your support is so essential and appreciated.

If you would like to schedule a tour, please contact director of resource development and communications, Megan Mann at mmann@crossoverministry.org or 804-655-2794, ext. 215.

Special Giving Projects

Throughout the year, CrossOver has many opportunities for local partners to help support our patients, volunteers, and staff in the form of special giving projects.

Possibilities include:

  • Providing lunch for our volunteers and staff during volunteer appreciation week
  • Supporting a family through our CrossOver Holiday Families program
  • Organizing a diaper drive for expectant CrossOver families
  • Assembling dental or hygiene kits for our patients
  • Providing backpacks for CrossOver children preparing for the new school year
  • Collect gift cards for our social work team to distribute to our patients in need of support for buying groceries
Subscribe to Our Sunday Snapshot

Stay current with CrossOver’s news and happenings by signing up to receive the weekly newsletter, the Sunday Snapshot. We cover staff, volunteer and donor updates as well as highlight upcoming events and relevant news for the CrossOver community.

Volunteer

CrossOver depends on hundreds of volunteers each year in order to provide compassionate healthcare to our neighbors. We have many volunteer opportunities in both of our clinics that play an integral part in serving our community. From the person checking someone in to nursing support to interpreters to medical providers to pharmacists, we are blessed by nearly 300 dedicated volunteers – and we would love you to be one of them!

Service Projects

Whether it’s painting new exam rooms, deep-cleaning our clinic waiting rooms, or even helping with facility repairs, we love to have local partners bring 10-20 volunteers who are willing to give their time in this meaningful way to our patients, volunteers, and staff. Volunteers must be 16 years or older.

Invite CrossOver into your Community

We love to share what CrossOver is doing in the community with our partners and how they can bring support. Invite us to speak at a staff meeting, club luncheon, worship service, Sunday school class, or other event. Other options include featuring CrossOver in organizational communications and social media channels. If you are a worshiping community, consider taking up a second collection or highlighting CrossOver in the weekly mission moment. Let us know what would be best for you!
