In response to the outpouring of support we received from you, we have decided to extend our Fund the Future goal from $50,000 to $75,000. This will allow us to fully fund the new public health nurse position at CrossOver including benefits (like health insurance) and supplies needed to support the new staff member’s work in our community. The public health nurse will oversee COVID-19 testing, develop a strategy for COVID-19 vaccinations when available, oversee flu vaccinations and pediatric immunizations, and provide follow-up calls and patient health education related to COVID-19, influenza, and other viruses.
