Jim Dageforde, MD and Kathy Dageforde

Dr. Dageforde always thought it would be rewarding to use his medical skills to give back to the underprivileged in Richmond, and then he heard about CrossOver opening a clinic in Henrico. That was more than 10 years ago, and today he is still a regular volunteer providing primary care to patients.

Kathy, his wife, learned about CrossOver and quickly decided she too wanted to volunteer. Kathy has used her Spanish skills to interpret for hundreds of patients and has become one of the eye clinic’s strongest volunteers. Jim and Kathy are very active at Trinity Lutheran church and have gotten the church involved in CrossOver’s Saturday mission clinics.

In their free time, Jim and Kathy love to travel. Our patients and staff greatly benefit from the warmth and experience of both Jim and Kathy Dageforde.
