We’re delighted to share that CrossOver has been awarded a $100,000 grant from the Delta Dental of Virginia Foundation! This funding will support additional hours for our dental hygienists and staff dentist. It will also allow us to create a new position of high risk dental care coordinator. The high risk dental care coordinator will provide care coordination and oral health education to high risk patients including patients with diabetes, OB patients, pediatrics patients, and patients in our HIV/AIDS care program, and will also work to enhance clinic protocols to improve the integration between our medical and dental clinic.

Brady Garrison begins work at CrossOver this week as our new high risk dental care coordinator. He is bilingual in English and Spanish and brings many gifts to CrossOver. We look forward to how he and our whole dental team will be able to build on the excellent dental care we offer CrossOver patients.

Delta Dental of Virginia Foundation was founded in 2012 by Delta Dental of Virginia to help improve the oral health and, subsequently, overall health of all Virginians. The foundation focuses its support on initiatives that improve oral health through improved access to oral care, oral health education and oral health research.
