Douglas Johnson, RN

Douglas Johnson thought it would be rewarding to use her nursing skills to give back to the underprivileged in Richmond. That was more than 10 years ago, and she is still a regular volunteer at the CrossOver Downtown clinic.

Douglas is so generous with her time that she makes a point to train new nurse volunteers that come to the clinic. She also sits on the CrossOver Quality Improvement Committee helping to ensure patients receive quality, compassionate care.

Douglas and her husband Carl are very active at First Baptist church. In her free time Douglas makes beautiful pottery and is setting up a pottery show to benefit CrossOver. Our patients and staff greatly benefit from Douglas’s warmth and experience at our Cowardin clinic.
