Director of Resource Development & Communications
The Director of Resource Development & Communications works collaboratively with the CEO and the Board of Directors to attract the resources necessary to implement the organizational strategic plan and maintain the financial health of CrossOver Healthcare Ministry. This position will have the opportunity to build on an already successful development program which generated approximately $3 Million in fiscal year 2016/2017 from over 2,000 donors. As CrossOver grows, it is likely this position will lead a future capital campaign and lead in ramping up the existing legacy program.
Bilingual TIPS Nurse
Cross Over Health Care Ministry is seeking a fulltime Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Medical Assistant for the TIPS Nurse position with our HIV program. The TIPS nurse’s role is to support the CrossOver HIV team, by providing nursing services to HIV infected and affected individuals enrolled in the HIV program at Cross Over Ministry. Primary duties include HIV testing and counseling, working with a multicultural team to improve clients’ access to care, retention in care and improve medication compliance through education and care coordination. This position reports directly to the clinic manager. Work hours are 8:15am through 5:00pm Monday through Friday and occasional evening and weekends maybe required.
Bilingual Clinical Coordinator
Cross Over Health Care Ministry is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant or LPN for our Clinical Coordinator position, Arabic or Spanish is preferred. The Clinic Coordinator’s roll is to ensure that quality nursing care is provided to patients through volunteer nurses trained by Clinic Coordinator. Primary duties include clinic supply inventory, maintain medical equipment, oversee nurse volunteers and their assignments, and assist clinicians as needed. This position reports directly to the clinic manager. Work hours are 8:15am through 5:00pm Monday through Friday and occasional evening and weekends maybe required.
Bilingual Dental Assistant
The Dental Assistant assists in the performance of quality, caring, clinical dentistry by aiding multiple volunteer dentists smoothly and unobtrusively during examinations and treatment. The Dental Assistant performs clinical and technical procedures under the supervision of licensed dentists as well as prepares the operatory and equipment, gets the patient ready, and maintains awareness of the comfort and safety needs of patients.

Medications Program Manager
CrossOver Healthcare Ministry is seeking a full-time Medications Program Manager to oversee all aspects of the medications program which include procurement of needed medications, inventory tracking, and management of the dispensing of medications to patients. This position reports to the Directors of Operations and the Pharmacist in Charge. The work hours are generally 8:15am to 5pm Monday through Friday, however occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
Social Work Coordinator
Crossover Healthcare Ministry is seeking a full time social worker who will oversee the social work program and provide case management services to a diverse, multicultural patient population. This position will rotate between the south side and west end clinic locations and will report to the Director of Nursing and Operations. Work hours are generally 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday; however, occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
The Eye Tech works to ensure that patients in the CrossOver Vision Clinic receive high quality vision care, and that the volunteer eye clinicians have an excellent volunteer experience.
CrossOver Healthcare Ministry is a non-profit organization which operates two free clinics in the Metro Richmond area that offer medical, dental, vision, medications, mental health counseling, social work case management, and community health education to low-income residents who do not have health insurance.
Our clinics are located on Cowardin Avenue in South Richmond close to Downtown and Quioccasin Road in Western Henrico County.
