Dental Director (DDS/DMD)

Position Summary:

The Dental Director is the leader of the CrossOver dental program.  This employee is primarily responsible for providing dental care to CrossOver’s patients enrolled in Medicaid, and will also serve CrossOver’s uninsured patients as their schedule allows. Their primary clinical responsibilities include examining, diagnosing, and treating diseases, injuries, and malformations of the oral environment. This includes treatments of diseases of nerve, pulp, and other dental tissues affecting oral hygiene and retention of teeth, fit dental appliances, and/or provide preventive care by performing the duties outlined below, in accordance with the organization’s mission and vision statements.

TIPS Medications Access Caseworker

Position Summary:

Cross Over Health Care Ministry is seeking a fulltime Pharmacy Technician for the TIPS Medications Access Caseworker position with our HIV program.  The TIPS Medication Access Caseworker (MAC) assists patients with obtaining the medications prescribed by the clinical providers at Cross Over Healthcare Ministry.  The Medications Access Caseworker (MAC) is focused on using The Pharmacy Connection (TPC) software and the Aids Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) to obtain medications.  The MAC is responsible for ensuring that TPC and ADAP are utilized effectively to help TIPs patients receive needed medications.  This position reports directly to the Medications Program Manager.  This position will primarily be at our Cowardin location and the work hours are 8:15am through 5:00pm Monday through Friday, but occasional evening and weekends maybe required.

Bilingual TIPS Program Non-medical Case Manager

Position Summary:

Since 1999, our Cowardin clinic has been the only local free clinic to offer diagnostic testing, medical and nursing care, prescription assistance, case management, substance abuse and mental health counseling, transportation assistance, and prevention education for HIV/AIDS clients.

Bilingual Dental Assistant

Position Summary:

CrossOver Healthcare Ministry, a Richmond based free clinic, is seeking a dental assistant for both locations. This position assists in the performance of quality, caring, clinical dentistry by aiding multiple volunteer dentists smoothly and unobtrusively during examinations and treatment. The Dental Assistant performs clinical and technical procedures under the supervision of licensed dentists as well as prepares the operatory and equipment, gets the patient ready, and maintains awareness of the comfort and safety needs of patients.

Medications Assistance Caseworker – Hopewell Location

Position Summary:

The MAC assists patients in obtaining the medications prescribed by their physicians. The MAC assists individuals apply for and obtain free prescription medicines from the brand name pharmaceutical companies’ Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) and/or discounted generic medicines by using The Pharmacy Connection (TPC).  The MAC will also assist patients in obtaining medicines by helping those newly eligible for Medicaid apply for coverage.  The MAC will continue to assist patients not eligible for Medicaid in obtaining medicines via the PAPs.  This includes denial letters for those PAPs that require one.
