Starting December 1, the Western Henrico clinic will be selecting new patients to be screened in by a LOTTERY system.
DO NOT COME EARLY! Lottery tickets will be given out at
8:00 am sharp on open registration days to all present.
*If you’ve recently been in the hospital/ER, are pregnant or HIV positive please speak to the front desk at your earliest convenience. You do NOT need to go through the lottery system.
This is a pilot program to help us provide a better and safer screening process for the many people seeking services here. We apologize for not being able to provide more advance notice of this change.  -11/21/16

*Si usted ha estado en el hospital /sala de emergencia , está embarzada o es VIH+, por favor haganos saber lo más pronto posible. Usted no necesita ingresar en el sistema de lotería.

In order to be seen at a CrossOver clinic, you must first complete the eligibility forms and undergo a financial screening. Patients must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level & have NO form of insurance (including Medicare, Medicaid & private.) Please review the "Income Guidelines for Patients" section which provides income limits as well as the required forms of documentation.

New Patient Screening

Unfortunately, we are not able to accept all new patients seeking healthcare services. We offer screenings on a first-come, first serve basis at the times and locations listed below. Times & days are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit the number of individuals screened in at any given time. If we are not able to give you a screening on the day you come in, and we have spaces on our waiting list, and you have all necessary paperwork, we will give you a voucher and a date to return. Please know that there may be a wait for the next available screening. We will do our best to accommodate everyone, and we thank you for your patience and understanding.

Prospective new Patients will be screened the first week of each month on the following days: 


     English:       Monday                  12:30 p.m.
     Spanish:     Wednesday            12:30 p.m.
(Patients renewing eligibility will be seen between 1:30 and 3:00 on Monday & Wednesday.)


     English:     Tuesday                  8:00 a.m.
     Spanish:    Thursday                 8:00 a.m.
(Patients renewing eligibility will be seen Wednesdays at 1:30 pm and Fridays 9:30 am.)

Confidential Rapid HIV Testing

HIV testing is now available on a walk-in basis at both CrossOver locations.  You do not need to be a CrossOver patient in order to use this service. The test requires a fingerstick and results are  available in 15 minutes.  Testing is available Mon to Thurs: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

After hours testing are available on certain dates. Call 804-233-5016 ext. 130 for further information.
